Everyone should read this book!

Buying this book was a very good decision. It is very detailed and well-written. I am familiar with functional medicine and have a pretty healthy diet but every page of this book opens a new window to me. I still didn’t finish it but it is one the best books I ever read in this field.

THE holistic guide to gut health EVERYBODY should read

Dear Deborah, I cannot express how much I appreciate you and what a masterpiece you have written. I have been struggling with IBS for 10+ years and researched a lot about gut health and nutrition myself. However, I never really combined all my knowledge together and this book just connected ALL THE DOTS. I thought I knew a lot, but boy how wrong was I ... I didn't know about the birth and early stages and how INTERCONNECTED everything is. It's not just gut + brain, but literally every part of your body that will influence it. It just becomes more and more crucial to me to learn more and more and really make even more concious decisions than that I wasalready doing. It's not just only a heathy lifestyle, but so so so much more. Stress is a big factor and being underweight for most of my life is probably not a good thing either. I'm slowly gaining to a healthy weight and I cannot be more happy :), sadly still struggling with constipation, but I think whatever journey you're on, it will take time, patience and a lot of ups and downs. Learning about all these things you have written will definitely help me. I printed the book and I will read it over and over again until I finally have a healthy gut. I truly hope one day I can say, I did it, i finally healed my gut <3. And your book will definitely be one of the causes. Thank you so so so much again, and sending a lot of love and hugs. Sehr interessant – leider noch viele Rechtschreibfehler...

Also vorweg möchte ich sagen, dass mir das Buch wirklich sehr gefällt. Ich bin ungefähr bei der Hälfte und habe schon viel lernen können. Außerdem hat mich das Buch motiviert, meine Darmgesundheit endlich ernst zu nehmen und mit der Heilung zu beginnen. Toll geschrieben und super einfach erklärt, schöne kurze Kapitel – liest sich leicht und macht Spaß.

Einen Kritikpunkt habe ich jedoch: Mich persönlich stören die vielen, vielen Rechtschreibfehler: allein im Inhaltsverzeichnis mehr als 50 (!!!!!!) Groß- und Kleinschreibungsfehler – das war das Erste was ich gelesen habe und hat mir direkt die Vorfreude genommen. Ich hatte dadurch den Eindruck, dass die Übersetzung absolut hektisch bzw. auf den letzten Drücker erfolgt ist, um ganz schnell noch eine Deadline zu halten, und ohne Korrekturlesen, sodass sich damit einfach keine Mühe gegeben wurde. Dieses Gefühl für mich als Leserin ist nicht schön. Zwischendrin wurde auch einfach ein ganzer Abschnitt im englischen belassen. Sehr schade...

Wäre das nicht gewesen, hätte ich 5 Sterne vergeben.

Soviel Imput

Ich liebe das Buch ! Es ist so gut strukturiert, verständlich aber doch sehr fachlich erklärt. Endlich verstehe ich soviel mehr, was in meinem Körper und meinem Darm vor sich geht. Ich wünschte es gäbe mehr solcher Bücher. Und ich wünschte, dieses Buch gäbe es allgemein in jedem Store zu kaufen!
